PAINTING IN CRETE 2006
18th - 25th April
Join me and my family for a week’s painting break on this beautiful Greek island. Crete is an artist’s paradise with rocky and sandy beaches, mountains and villages. We will be staying in the coastal town of Georgioupolis.
The cost of the painting break is £600, which includes:
Accommodation Tuition Mini bus travel to painting sites
Price based on two people sharing a twin room. There is a supplement of £75 for a single person in a twin room. There is a reduction of £50 for non-painting partners. Flights are not included and should be arranged by students (booking your own flights 6 months in advance should cost in the region of £130 return). The nearest airport to Georgioupolis is Chania but flights are also available to Heraklion.
ACCOMMODATION AT GEORGIOUPOLIS - Twin bedded studios
This modern 3-storey building is ideally situated just over the river bridge within 150 yards of the village square and beach. Despite its central location rooms are quiet, in their own grounds, and all have scenic views. Accommodation is cleaned daily and linen and towels replaced 2-3 times a week. The owner is a very friendly lady who speaks English and will make you most welcome.
